IMOLA IV e-book

This e-book is a dissemination of the IMOLA IV Project (Interoperability Model for Land Registers)

The objectives that have been sought with the IMOLA e-book have been:

• To detail the methodology and works carried out in the IMOLA IV project
• To achieve the IMOLA’s role for Land Registry Interconnection as LRI complementary project.
• To publish the European Land Registry Document -ELRD- as an essential artifact for the harmonization of Land Registers information within the European Interoperability Framework -IEF.
• To disseminate IMOLA specific content (Corpus semantic) as a fundamental tool to get a more understandable and transparent Land Registers semantic information model.
• To enhance the value of work deployed by the Contact Points of the European Land Registry Network -ELRN-, the cornerstone of the approach.
• To receive feedback and support from academics and other scholars.
• To do the necessary research to evaluate the consequences of data economy in the Land Registers information and how to move into a juridical land registry ecosystem to European citizens, according to the provisions set out in the art 32 ter of V Directive to prevent money laundering, fostering the European single and facilitating the cross border transactions aligned with EU Digital Transformation policy in the field of Justice and Commercial matters.
