The European Land Registry Association (ELRA) has announced the election of its new Board of Directors for the 2025–2027 mandate, following the adoption of the General Assembly held in Barcelona and hosted by the Deganat Autonòmic de Catalunya.
The newly elected Board is composed of:
- Mihai Taus, President
- Enrique Maside, Secretary General
- Elena Prada, Treasurer
- Judge Marta Rekawek and Jacques Vos, Board Members
ELRA also expressed its sincere gratitude to Francisco J. Gimeno, outgoing Secretary-General, and Manfred Buric, outgoing Board Member, for their commitment and valuable contribution to the Association’s work over the past years.
“The new Board is committed to strengthening European cooperation among land registries, supporting innovation and ensuring that registries continue to provide legal certainty and stability in times of technological and regulatory change,” stated President Mihai Taus.
With renewed leadership, ELRA will continue to promote the exchange of best practices, support policy dialogue at European level, and contribute technical expertise to initiatives related to land registration, digital transformation and interoperability of property data systems.
