The ninth training seminar took place online the 19th of May.

The target of this meeting was “Relationships and attributes assignation, part 2: Formants homologation, parametrization and mapping”. This seminar was the second part of the previous one.

The objectives were the following:

  1. A deeper and practical analysis of Formants methodology adapted to the IMOLA project, to assign attributes to national concepts used on the ELRD ontology .
  2. After detailing the questions and answers, the next step will be to deal with their enrichment by means of formants, using the new KM functionalities, making possible a law comparative property rights concepts scheme.
  3. Practical overview based on the complete case of use developed by Trento comparative law group.
  4. Analysis of new customized technical developments on KM input system to support the use of Formants methodology.

Conclusions related to the anti-money laundering questionnaire were explained by Gabriel Alonso.

Then, Professor Anabel Fraga followed addressing some technical questions such as ELRD, quality check and user management, ELRD XSD/SML schema validation (v 3.2), among others.

Regarding this last topic, we have Costas Simatos, IT Architect, European Commission explained how to test ELRD XSD/XML schema on the Test Bed validator.

Then, Elena Ioriatti and Sara Giacomini from University of Trento, address the topic “A practical vision of the formant methodology applicable to the IMOLA III¨, supported by KM, (homologation, parametrization and mapping)

Luisa Clode, ELRA Secretary General, went through factsheets updates and conceptualization.

To end with, Jesus Camy and Anabel Fraga presented the conclusions and the IMOLA III e-book suggestions.

Thanks to the excellent work carried out by the IMOLA II coordination team, the speakers, and the CPs.
