The sixth seminar took place online the 24th of February of 2021.

The training was focused on the analysis of environmental new pivot terms.

The objectives were the following:

  • To consolidate and extend the ELRD ontology, enhancing its quality and interoperability
  • To extend LR information to environmental public limitations by means of ELRD
  • ELRD alignment with Inspire Directive
  • Harmonizing Land Registry information to make it more transparent and understandable
  • Strengthening legal certainty
  • CPs feedback, analysis and consensus (bottom-up project)
  • Analysis of new technical developments on KM input system and e-justice web service

Our first invited speaker was Hugo de Groof, DG Environment, European Commission, who talked about the main role of Land Registry supporting EU environmental policy: how environmental public limitations can affect the registered statutory property regime.

The second invited speaker, Gabriel Sima, DG Justice, European Commission talked about Land Registry interconnection project advancement.

Jorge Lopez (WP2 coordinator), explained ELRD ontology amendments suggested in parts A and C (factsheet) and Jesús Camy (Project Manager) followed explaining ELRD environmental new pivot terms, which are aligned with INSPIRE Directive.

Then, there was a round table to present a preliminary analysis of environmental questionnaire as well as the Contact Points’ feedback.

Professor Anabel Fraga addressed technical issues such as KM new developments or the state of play of national data bases, among others.

Finally, Mathias Maurer presented LRI MS 2 project, state of play and latest developments.
