The fourth IMOLA II Training Seminar took place online the 18th of November of 2020.

The target of this seminar is to go deeper into the Formant methodology to assign attributes. The objectives were the following:

  • A practical overview of the formant methodology
  • Analysis of the conclusions related to the questionnaire launched to decide about the admission of a specific LR formant
  • The importance of attributes to make property rights comparative schemas for the effective implementation of adaptation principle.
  • KM innovations: practical overview to consolidate national DBs
  • Review of break-out results
  • Collaboration and state of play of LRI MS 2 Project

In the first part of the seminar, Professor Elena Ioriatti from Trento University, explained the formant methodology regarding IMOLA III

Then the Project Manager presented the state of play of IMOLA III, highlighting national DB as a crucial issue.

The second part of the seminar was devoted to judicial and semantic information. We had different case studies regarding national data consolidation: connecting pivot terms and national concepts (problems and suggestions). For the case of Sweden, we had the participation of David Fridh; Miriam Rapa for Malta and Paula Chilrito for Portugal.

Then Jorge López, WP1 Coordinator, followed explaining suggestions to improve the structure of the section C of the ELRD factsheet, corresponding to encumbrances.

Finally, the third and last part of the seminar was devoted to technical developments, starting with a presentation by Mihai Taus (WP 2 Coordinator) about IMOLA III functionalities.

IMOLA III Technical Director, Anabel Fraga, followed presenting KM innovations, practical hints to consolidate national databases and IMOLA III vision about attributes assignation.

The last presentation was given by Mathias Maurer, regarding the state of play of LRI MS 2 project and collaboration scenarios.

Finally, the conclusions were presented by the IMOLA III Project Manager and Technical Director
