The tenth training seminar took place online the 27th of September and it focoused on: Steeping forward to Land Registers Interconnection: conceptualization and formalization AI techniques to enrich a customized ELRD with European legislation and case law.

The objectives were the following:

  1. Integration and evolution of the I.KOS juridical ecosystem by means of ELRD common set of data (I): European legislation and EUCJ decisions.
  2. Overview and support stepping forward to national DBs consolidation: pivots, relations, formants, attributes and clustering.
  3. KM evolution and new ELRD schema v 3.2.1
  4. Making up IMOLA III e-Book.

Gabriel Sima, from DG Justice, European Commission, presented the state of play of the LRI.

His colleague, Gösta Petri, followed with a presentation about the objectives of digital transformation in the field of justice and the need to accelerate the same due to the impact of Covid-19. He also highlighted the different levels of progress across Member States.

Jorge Lopez, WP1 Coordinator, and Gabriel Alonso, talked about the conceptualization and formalization techniques and their integration in the IMOLA I.KOS. Jorge focused on the European Legislation while Gabriel focused on linking EU case law to the ELRD pivot terms.

Jesús Camy, Project Manager and Anabel Fraga, Technical Director, were the speakers of the last 3 core panels. They started explaining the KM evolution, focusing on the new developments and ELRD Schema v 3.2.1. It was followed by the National DBs consolidation overview, and they finished with a presentation about the E-book structure and tasks assignation.

The last presentation was the one of Mathias Maurer, Project Manager of the Member States Connection 2 project, who explained the results and conclusions of the same.

To finish with, Jesús Camy and Anabel Fraga concluded the seminar.
