Other registers and searches

It is possible to search the following when acquiring an immovable property:

1. The cadastre (State Information System of real property cadastre) for possible encumbrances such as various protection zones among other things www.vzd.gov.lv/home/e-services/;
2. Registry of Enterprises;
3. Insolvency Register;
4. Detailed plans – are available only in municipalities;
5. Information held by utility providers – one can inquire with separate requests to each of the utility owners.
6. Flood risk – information can always be found in detailed plan – available at the municipality.
