Opening a new registry file

When is it possible to open a new land registry file?

The immovable property as an object is superior to all other information in the land register (real property register). In Sweden it is not possible to grant or even handle an application for title if the immovable is not inserted in the land register with a unique property name/identification.

Today it is technically impossible to register more than one immovable property with the same name/identification. In the old Swedish system with property books, duplicates with the same property name sometimes occurred but those errors have been fixed. New immovable property can be created through cadastral decisions. The validity of these decisions depend on the immovable being registered in the real property register.
